Who are we...

Our clubs are where Rotary’s humanitarian work begins. At weekly meetings, members not only catch up with friends and hear what’s happening in our communities, they also exchange ideas for creating positive change.

Rotary is a world-wide organization of people whose mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through our fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders.

Service Above Self

“Serv8ice Above Self” is the motto of Rotary. The Blaine and Ham Lake Rotary Club lives this motto through various ongoing service projects.

Some service projects we do include:

  • Park and roadside cleanup
  • Meal packing
  • Food and supply drives,
  • Scholarships to partner countries.

We also financially support various local and international nonprofit organizations that focus on food insecurity, homelessness, community needs, and youth programs, to name a few.

Blaine Ham Lake Rotarians braved the long grass and thick vegetation to clean up the Coon Creek Watershed behind a shopping center in Blaine. Taking care of our waterways that feed the Mississippi is important to our crew. We are happy to support this effort twice a year.
The Blaine Ham Lake Rotary Club took a walk through Happy Acres Park with a purpose - clean up for Earth Day. Our crew found many interesting items while enjoying the beautiful sunny spring weather.  We welcome members of our community to join us for our service projects. Contact us today.

Club members enjoyed another night of serving while packing meals for school age children in Minnesota at Every Meal, April 23, 2025. Food insecurity is very important to our club and this is just one of the ways we try to make an impact in our community.

On April 30 we celebrated our support and financial commitment to the following community organizations. We are proud to support them. Thank you for all that you do.
- Achieve Services (adult disability services)
- Alexandra House (domestic violence)
- Hope for Youth (homeless)
- Stepping Stone Emergency Housing (homeless)
